We are proud to announce that our participating project “Evolution of the Control Room” has been awarded the Project of the Year Award by the 2024 IBC Accelerator Media Innovation Programme.

Alongside innovative projects of bringing AI and XR into the control room, SPX Graphics showcased the power of HTML-graphics as the next evolution in broadcast graphics workflow.
During the process of bringing this project to fruition, we’ve had long conversations with many of the leading broadcasters around the world, and one thing became clear: “HTML-based workflow is the natural next step in broadcast graphics due to its capabilities, cost, and openness”.
In particular, we demonstrated the API-native approach of broadcast workflow with our partner Tinkerlist, creators of the rundown automation platform Cuez, by combining our graphics software to be seamlessly triggered by the Cuez platform through API interface. Bringing this kind of web technology to broadcasting has been a long time coming, and this award further cements that the industry is finally ready to make that switch.
We are proud and happy with this result but we’re not satisfied just yet. We’re constantly working on new products, services, and solutions to make HTML-graphics even better and we’re looking forward to IBC 2025 to showcase all of these exciting developments to the rest of the industry, once again!
Big shout out to the entire team involved, our HTML-graphics friends, and to IBC for this amazing opportunity.
Stay tuned for more!
